Services and Prices

The BWH Metabolic Core offers a full suite of services for the analysis of mouse metabolism. The core’s Columbus Instruments Comprehensive Lab Animal Monitoring System (CLAMS)  allows for simultaneous measurement of key metabolic parameters in mice. The CLAMS data can be complemented by oxygen bomb calorimetry  and fecal lipid content for the assessment of food metabolism efficiency in mice.  In addition, we offer intraperitoneal insulin tolerance test (ipITT) and intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test (ipGTT).   Please check back again in Decembe 2021 for additional metabolic phenotyping services.
